Xbox Beats PlayStation in Acquiring Discord's Video Chat

The video chat option goes live in a few months on Xbox while there's no news from PlayStation yet.

Xbox players are about to get their wish come true! Discord has announced that they will be bringing voice chat for Xbox Live users over the next few weeks, with an update coming soon. The announcement was made on 20th July 2022.

This integration between Microsoft's console and one of popular video game platform’s most widely used features should make talking online easier than ever before - no matter where you go or who your friends are playing alongside this week

In addition, all Select Insiders can now use it in- Areas where gamers communicate through text messages instead: such as parties dedicated solely towards Skype chats And even if someone doesn't own either device.

The process to link your Discord and Xbox accounts is easy. First, you need access both via the web or an app on either device in order for it work properly; next go ahead press X at any time during gameplay while logged into one of these platforms with whatever account information matches up (e-mail address) according as well as click “Join Server” when prompted by selecting whether this will be solely used within Microsoft's gaming ecosystem - which includes Live TV streaming services too! When connecting through voice recognition technology like Skype there should not come out sounding like text but rather speech patterns so people can better understand what they're saying even if speaks faster than usual rates

When Microsoft and/or Discord release more concrete information on the Xbox One's planned integration of their popular chat app, it will be worth checking out. For now though there are still many questions left unanswered such as what day or time period in which this update happens too! You should also get yourself one amazing headset so your Discord friends can hear you loud & clear during any potential release days. In fact, you can begin port forwarding discord, so you can avoid lag and disruptions during the video chatting phase.

The arrival of Discord on Xbox came with no mention of voice chat for PlayStation, which is unfortunate considering Sony bought Discord's shares last year. So far only linking your PSN account has been allowed to show friends what you're playing while still unable to message them in any way through this platform - but there may be hope yet!

Within time (and if not already), we'll see more features come out as they develop these apps further into development cycles; it just seems like an incredibly slow process right now because everything available takes months rather than weeks/days before being released onto the public domain--even though some people would argue otherwise depending upon their needs.
